Created for digital platforms and club channels, this new ‘hero’ film helps bring this partnership and the people at the heart of that service, to life.
First Bus commissioned us to create another film following previous successful campaigns we’ve produced. This film’s objective was to create a sense of journey, telling it with feeling and emotion. It follows a young girl and her grandfather, who are both very obviously fans of Aberdeen FC.
The dedicated duo provide the spine of our story, as we highlight their bond and the tradition of attending matches together. We share their enjoyable home game journey with First Bus, capturing some of the excitement and anticipation that builds up on the journey to the game.
We wanted our story to really chime with Aberdeen FC fans, and showcase Aberdeen’s various communities, the camaraderie, and the seamless integration of First Bus into the football experience. Most of all we wanted it to capture the diversity of Aberdeen FC’s fans love for their team.
The film took several weeks of detailed planning, scripting, sourcing of potential locations, bus routes, and conducting casting and auditions. It was filmed over two days by the Signal film crew in multiple locations across the city, resulting in a heart-warming 3-minute film.
