We’ve produced a series of seven promotional videos for Aberdeen Convention Bureau. The ACB is part of VisitAberdeenshire and promotes Aberdeen as a destination for business events, leads and supports bids for these events and works with partners across the region to deliver a great welcome. Each video had a specific objective.
The Ambassador Network is a group of local professionals, academics, business leaders and individuals who bring national, international events or association conferences to Aberdeen.
The Ambassador Network video follows the story of four senior academics (two from University of Aberdeen and two from Robert Gordon University) who were organising international events for academics around the world. Each one describes the way in which ACB supported them with the challenges of hosting and marketing their events.
The Destination video encourages event hosts and delegates to visit Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire as a great place to hold a business or academic event and showcase it as a great place to visit.
The film focuses on location – the city, coast, and countryside and the breadth of things to see and do. As well as different event venues, such as the city’s Music Hall, the Art Gallery, Science Centre, P&J Live, and hotels.
The Delegate Journey video focuses on how accessible the region is, both travelling to Aberdeen from abroad and within the city.
Aberdeen has a history as a meeting place, spanning hundreds of years, and while we’re glad the transportation has improved over those years, it’s nice to appreciate what made our city so internationally respected in the first place.
We were so happy with how well each individual ambassador did in the Ambassador Network video that we decided to highlight each one. Four more 1 minute films were made which focused on each of our wonderful participants.
